Below you will find a link to 100 winning pieces in our 2016 Health+Wellness Design Awards. This is an expansive competition because it rides on a wave of societal concern/interest/fear/fascination regarding the state of our own health and our healthcare system. And it is an intriguing contest because so much of the creative work ‒ and so much of the clients’ messaging ‒ is aspirational. Which is to say that the projects focus less on illness and infirmity, and more on a comprehensive sense of “wellness.” That is a good feeling to be around.

Starting creative and marketing salaries are expected to go up an average of 3.6 percent in the year ahead, according to the 2017 Salary Guide from The Creative Group. Following are five positions expected to see even bigger gains:

Front-End Web Developer (1 to 3 years of experience) ‑ 7.2% increase to the range of $56,500-$80,500 annually

Mobile Designer ‑ 6.8% increase to the range of $80,000-$121,500 annually

User Experience (UX) Designer (3 to 5 years of experience) ‑ 6.1% increase to the range of $75,750-$103,000 annually

Information Architect ‑ 6.1% increase to the range of $97,000-$144,000 annually

Visual Designer ‑ 5.3% increase to the range of $66,000-$99,250 annually
