Paper Matters - Domtar

August 2022 Newsletter
In a recent article on how to inspire creatives, Adweek suggested rejecting the cliché “work day” stating that working on briefs every moment of the work day “can stifle creativity and lead to burnout.” What to do instead? TBWA senior copywriter Dontun Bello advises managers to encourage creatives to read trade publications, scroll through TikTok or see what’s trending on Twitter ‒ things that will later inform their work. Along those lines, we bring you news of the enigmatic opening of HBO’s The Staircase, the inspirational career of Ellen Lupton, a colorful rebrand of iconic Tabasco, a thought piece on the role of print, various resource references, and more. Adweek also suggested that one way to stay creative is by taking full advantage of your PTO, so feel free to read this newsletter on vacation. We’ll take the blame.
