This is one of the most comprehensive and unique collections
of photographs and original artwork, containing more than 10
million transparencies, black-and-white prints, glass plates
and pieces of art. Based on images from National Geographic
Magazine, the collection is, as you would expect, both dramatic

make people think. Above all, they make people react.” Images
can now be downloaded online, 24/7, while a staff of researchers

Neenah Paper
Neenah
Paper Inc. recently completed a tax free spinoff from Kimberly-Clark
to create a standalone company focused solely on pulp and paper.
Says President Bill O’Connor, “We
are the same people but now with one vision... We are a company
that has generated a legacy of environmental stewardship and
we intend to continue to build on this heritage.” Neenah
manufactures and distributes a wide range of premium and specialty
paper grades; it can claim many well known brands and leading
positions in many markets. “I’d hate to be our competitors
this year, because Neenah Paper is kicking it up a notch,” promises
Tom Wright, director of strategic advertising. “Great
recycled papers that perform. Options. Colors. Matching offerings.
Unique items. These are what graphic designers ask for. And
we’ve got ‘em! For example, we are one of the only
companies that offer round corner papers such as in the Classic
Cotton and Classic Crest brands. Not only is the Environment
brand environmentally responsible, but it also includes papers
that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council... A long
time ago, we set out to create papers unmatched in their runnability,
reliability, quality and availability. We met that challenge.
Now our goal is to become the designer’s number one choice
for premium papers.”

PhotoAlto
PhotoAlto has been a recognized pioneer in the royalty free
stock visual market, and they are now committed deeply to the
American market, offering their distinctive heritage, approach
and style. PhotoAlto also differentiates itself with an intriguing
paradigm: one theme, one photographer, one CD-ROM. By having
each each CD-ROM contain the work of one photographer focusing
on a single theme, company officials say that “his or
her own particular worldview is expressed through the use of
color, focus, close-ups, their sense of movement and photographic
technique.”
