Susanna Aldrovandi was born in Rome, Italy, and came to San Francisco in 2004 to attend the Academy of Art University's School of Graphic Design. Aldrovandi's major is graphic design, with an emphasis on print. When not traveling, painting or at Burning Man, Aldrovandi focuses on creating interactive environmental graphics.

Jack Chung lives in Alameda CA. Majoring in graphic design at AAU, with an emphasis on print, Chung endeavors to learn different ways of communicating through design. His passion for design encompasses all possible facets, including architecture, fashion, industrial design and graphic design.

Andrew Johnson grew up in the Monsey NY area. His major is graphic design, with an emphasis on print and identity design. Although his future goals fluctuate daily, he "always remains somewhat focused on finding new perspectives to view the world from." Johnson maintains his inspiration with loud music and aimless wandering.

Tomohiro Kaji, a native of Chiba, Japan, earned a B.F.A. in expressive cultures from Wako University in Tokyo before coming to San Francisco to earn his second B.F.A., this time in graphic design. Kaji's personal motto: "Design = communication through my interpretation."

Jeanette Karthaus, born in the Netherlands, now lives in San Carlos CA. Karthaus' emphasis is on print design, with a recent added interest in textile design. Her ultimate goal is to be part of a creative team from which she can "learn and be humbled and simultaneously inspired by designing everything from books to environmental graphics."

Priya Rajan came to the U.S. from India to study graphic design. Using her love of reading and research, and her emphasis on print design, Rajan intends to use design as an effective communications medium to create awareness of important issues.

Tiffany Ricardo lived in Madrid for two years but now calls San Francisco home. She is earning her M.F.A. in graphic design at AAU, and with inspirations such as Bruce Mao, art, diversity, type and Earth, Ricardo aims to be part of a team that thrives on continued education, experimentation and commitment to smart design.

Andrea Stadelman is from Modesto CA and is majoring in graphic design, with an emphasis on packaging — a definite creative outlet for her infatuation with organizing. Design takes up most of her time, but she also finds time for other interests such as interior decorating, traveling, movies and shopping.
