The most recent release of note is the QuarkXPress 7.31 updater, a maintenance release of the company's industry-leading professional design software. Quite Software
Quite Software's first product, PSAlter, remains the problem-solving tool of choice for PostScript programmers. As far back as 1997, Quite saw that PDF was likely to be the wave of the future and began to create plug-ins for Adobe Acrobat.
Drawing on their experience of the printing and publishing trades, the Quite team, based in the Scottish Highlands and the U.S., focuses on the critical areas of prepress workflow and production.
The Acrobat-related product family today includes Quite Imposing Plus, Quite Imposing, Quite a Box of Tricks and Quite Revealing. The lone standalone is Quite Hot Imposing, which enables OEMs, system integrators and independent vendors to create customized workflows using either the hot folder or command-line tools within the application.

So state officials of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative program, one of the world's largest forest certification standards. For over a decade, the SFI program has been improving forest practices and promoting responsible wood fiber procurement for papermakers.
SFI Inc. is a fully independent, registered non-profit certification program with a three-chamber board of directors that has equal representation from the environmental, economic and social sectors. The SFI label is displayed on products only after independent auditors make sure forest management practices and procurement systems meet rigorous standards.
With more than 143 million acres of certified lands and 102 chain-of-custody certificates involving more than 400 sites across North America — a 386 percent increase in certificates, according to president and CEO Kathy Abusow — certified printers and paper suppliers are plentiful, as are suppliers with SFI chainof- custody certifications.
