In this economic downturn, name one thing you have done to weather the tough times. Never taken the work for granted.

If you weren't a designer, what would you be? Director, Navy Seal, marathon runner, coach, professor full-time.

What's the one thing ALWAYS in your bag that you never leave home without? A bag of black pens. Like 50 different ones in a ziploc. And an attitude.

If you could spend 15 minutes talking to any person, living or dead, who would it be and why? I think Malcolm X. Because I really believe he had discovered something - a wisdom about the world and race and how we could all interact. I truly believe he had a lot left to say.

If you could work for anyone, a client or on a project, what would it be? My daughters. hands down.

ONE THING I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IS Again, my daughters. And of course, my head, a constant supply of blood, and my heart.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS
The Wire. Hands down.

FAVORITE MOVIES
A Touch of Evil, Philadelphia Story, Karate Kid, To Kill A Chinese Bookie, Manhattan, Stranger Than Paradise, any of the three Marx Brothers films, She's Gotta Have it, and Mean Streets. Anyone who has only one is straight up lying.

FAVORITE MUSIC, BAND, SONG
Right this second, Samba d'Amour by Yusef Lateef live in San Francisco. I'm a junkie for late 60s, early 70s more rythmic "free jazz", highly spiritual and uplifting. Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Archie Shepp, McCoy Tyner.

STRENGTH & WEAKNESS AS A DESIGNER
I can seriously talk about anything, any time, any place. And I am a much better art director than designer. I also can not answer anything with just one word.

NEW YEARS' RESOLUTIONS
To make Anomaly the best company (not agency) in the world.
