Bill Thorburn has opened the doors of The Thorburn Group, an independent branding and design firm, after operating as Carmichael Lynch Thorburn for more than a decade. Joining him at the helm is co-founder and head of strategic development Patrick Weas. Thorburn has some 20 years of internationally recognized design expertise, including working as Design Director for Dayton-Hudson’s-Marshall Fields and founding his own firms, Thorburn Design and Carmichael Lynch Thorburn. The Thorburn Group “is geared to the realities of today’s business challenges,” says Thorburn. “The market has changed and the way brands connect to people has changed along with it . . . all this demands a new approach to solving business and branding challenges,” he said.
