Sessions College for Professional Design
Jason Maclean is pursuing an Associate of Occupational Studies degree at Sessions College. The school has programs leading to an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Graphic Design and Web Design, and certificate programs in graphic design, Web design, multimedia arts, digital arts, marketing design, game art, and fine arts.
What made you decide to go to design school?
I’ve been working in the Web development and design field for a long time, but always as a follower of my colleagues’ work with graphic design projects. I decided about a year ago that I wanted to move further away from my role in programming and more into design and eventually into a leadership role. I felt that a degree like the one offered at Sessions would prepare me to move into a more senior role and also offer me strong credentials in design.
Has it been a positive experience?
My experience with Sessions College has been extremely positive since the very beginning. The professionalism of all members of their team has been nothing short of stellar, from every level of the organization. The learning environment is very constructive and challenging, and is structured in such a way as to take full advantage of the interaction between faculty and students.
Ever changing. Anyone who brings something new to our community, and inspires us all to push our own limits.
