What made you decide to go to design school?
I was originally interested in pursuing fashion design because of its uplifting qualities. After attending classes at F.I.T., I saw how prevailing the superficiality of the industry was. So, I reevaluated my priorities. I see graphic design as a very powerful tool for social progression. Who wouldn’t want to help solve people's problems?
Has it been a positive experience?
Yes, but only because of what I’ve put into it. Design school, or any aspect of life, is only what you make of it. I’ve realized it’s not about your particular classes or assignments, but the experiences they create in order for you to become a better designer.
