SCAD

Growing up in a small suburb of Indianapolis, there weren’t many opportunities for creative self-expression, so I redirected my focus on puzzles and equations as a creative outlet. It was my attraction to problem-solving and fascination with the arts that ignited my passion for design. At SCAD I’ve been captivated by the versatility of design. Now I’m in my final year with a BFA in graphic design at my fingertips. My dream is to partner with some dear colleagues to open a small studio somewhere outside the U.S.

What have you gained from attending design school?
I’ve been thrilled to experiment with media outside of my major — motion design, interactive design, and printmaking. As I observe design through these different lenses, I am building my own path. I’m not entirely certain where this path will take me, but I am more than anxious to find out.
