PRATT MWP

Born and raised in New York’s capital region, Michael Bagnardi developed a fixation for the arts at a very young age. Throughout middle school, he could be found tinkering on the computer creating logos and typefaces to pass the time. With the support of his family and instructors, he discovered his passion could develop into a legitimate career. Michael enrolled in his first design course during his senior year of high school. Here he first caught wind of Pratt at Munson-Williams-Proctor, where, upon completion of the program, he received the Communications Design Honors Award. Michael continues to evolve into a highly motivated and playful worker. His studies in graphic design have prompted him to pursue interests in typography, screen printing, and advertising. And he has become fixated on music production. He says that “art and design isn’t a job, it’s a game that employs my passion for the visual world.”
