The first college football game was played on November 6, 1869 between Rutgers University and Princeton University in New Brunswick NJ.  Now the College Football 150th Anniversary celebration gets set to take the field with the release of a campaign logo and plans for an extensive marketing program. The CFB150 campaign is being executed by The Marketing Arm while sports branding agency SME designed the celebratory logo with input from college football stakeholder groups. Close to 800 schools are expected to utilize the logo during the 2019 season. The national anniversary celebration will include a commemoration of that historic first game. Michelle Palmer is President, Sports and Experiential at The Marketing Arm; Ed O’Hara is Chief Creative Officer of SME. CFB150, based in Irving TX, is Executive Director is Kevin Weiberg.
