Most of us think about our goals a bit more this time of year AND reflect on what we can do to change and improve our lives and positively impact our “circle” – the people around us. One of our primary goals for the HOW Design Live team is to be forward thinkers – to try to stay ahead of the industry so we can do everything possible to help designers navigate their changing environment.
An obvious trend is that the convergence of design and marketing is accelerating. With that, we’ve seen more marketing professionals attending HOW Design Live and our design attendees have shown stronger interest in sessions that address the intersection of design and marketing. Staying true to our goal of looking toward the future of design and marketing and how we can help designers and marketers thrive in their roles, we’re super excited to partner with the American Marketing Association (AMA) in launching HOW Marketing Live April 30-May 1, 2018. Our intent is to strengthen the collaboration between marketers and designers because the business challenges of today – and tomorrow – depend on it. We live in a fast-paced world. Customers don’t wait. They expect brands and organizations to be ready to help them wherever and whenever they need it. The use of technology and artificial intelligence are now norms in the realms of customer experience, marketing, and R&D. And the wealth of data makes it possible to evaluate a brand’s every move.
