Convening June 8–10, the 2017 SEGD Conference Experience Miami will bring top designers and local experts together for a three-day event that features hands-on workshops and charrettes, design tours, NEXPO floor, networking socials and thought leadership sessions.
The event will be held at the Loews Miami Beach. Alongside design legend Lance Wyman, leaders from local organizations including the University of Miami, CityBIOM, Gensler, CEEK VR, Florida International University, MONAD Studio, Coral Morphologic and New World Symphony will contribute to the conference. In addition, the conference will feature the return of the popular Design Improv session — a charrette designed to induce laughter and outside-the-box thinking and making — led by Ben Whitehouse of Two Twelve. Another signature element of the SEGD Conference, local tours will get attendees out of the conference room and into the city to focus on recent high-profile experiential design projects. And the conference will be preceded June 7 by a one day Academic Summit.
