Apple has updated the identity for Apple Music that is centered on an image of two notes. The notes are used in endless variations, including selected artists and music genres that inspired them. Clicking on a note on social or digital media takes visitors to more information on the artist.
A new 30-second ad features 41 versions of the two-note design; each split-second frame is a tribute to a musician. The goal, says Apple, is to introduce the brand redesign while telling fans that Apple Music is the place to go for the latest music, artist news and culture content. Sam Smith is said to be first up: he will soon introduce his personal note simultaneous with a new album and documentary.
