The Original and Premier Showcase For Inhouse Designers and Their Departments
GDUSA’s American Inhouse Design Awards™ is the premier showcase for outstanding work by inhouse designers. It is a unique opportunity for inhouse designers at corporations, non-profits, institutions, universities, government, associations, media companies and other organizations with an inhouse designer or team to be recognized by managers, colleagues and the community for their creativity, for the special challenges they face, and for the full value they bring to the table. American Inhouse Design Award winners will receive a Letter of Congratulations and a frameable embossed Certificate of Excellence for each piece selected. In addition, winning entries will be eligible for publication in our 250-page Inhouse Design Awards Annual in both print and digital formats, as well as our popular website.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Entries may be submitted by any inhouse design department, team or individual actively involved in the creation or production of the work.
WHAT IS ELIGIBLE?
Entries must have been created between January 1, 2017 and May 15, 2018.
HOW TO ENTER:
OPTION 1 | ENTER ONLINE
Fill out one entry form for each entry you’re submitting. Create a folder which includes all completed entry forms and one digital image per entry. Please zip the file and name it with your company name. Upload the zipped file on our site; the upload link is at the very bottom of this page. All entries should be accompanied by a high-resolution digital file. Please provide ONE image to represent each submission. It is not necessary to provide digital files of entire publications. A cover and a spread are sufficient.
For entries in the categories of Internet Design and Motion Graphics (TV, Film + Video), please supply screen captures (5 maximum) in addition to a .mov file or a url.
ACCEPTABLE DIGITAL FILE FORMATS:
300 dpi Photoshop tiff or jpeg, minimum 5″ wide x 5″ high
Adobe Illustrator file with outlines created around the type
High Resolution PDF
We do not accept Quark or indesign files. Please convert these file types to photoshop jpegs or tiffs.
OPTION 2 | MAIL IN YOUR ENTRY
Please send the actual printed piece, unmounted but well protected. We cannot return entry materials. Do not send original artwork or any work in low supply. Fill in one entry form for each of your submissions. Attach the entry form to the back of the actual piece. If you are submitting the same piece in more than one category, please include a separate entry form for each category. Please fill out each entry form as clearly as possible. Payment information for all entries can be placed on a single form. All entries must be accompanied by digital images on a CD or flash drive. Multiple entries from one company can all be submitted on the same CD or flash drive. Please follow the digital file preparation guidelines above.
