Vanity Fair Debuts Weightier Masthead

VANITYHEAD

Vanity Fair magazine debuts a new look with its September 2018 issue. Most notable is a new logo and weightier masthead. The logo refresh is by well-known foundry Commercial Type. Inside, the magazine has added more “visual tension” to its pages by shifting its content into defined grids. The edition, with actress Michelle Williams on the cover, is now available on newsstands.

On Instagram relatively new editor Radhika Jones posted: “Our September issue, featuring @amandafortini’s wonderful profile of Michelle Williams, photographed by @collierschorrstudio, styled by @samiranasr, and debuting our new design and ever-so-slightly revamped logo (hint: look at the R) led by @yeschrisdixon. There is so much good stuff in this issue, from cover to Proust Questionnaire, and I hope you will love it.”
