Alice Fang is a junior studying Communication Design at Carnegie Mellon University and pursuing a writing minor. She’s interested in exploring how to combine her interests in digital humanities with communication design to create, convey and curate meaningful stories and experiences. She believes in the power of design in doing social good, and in examining identity, gender and language. Outside of academics, she’s working on research with the Learning Media Design Center at CMU about informal learning in citizen science, and project-based, makerspace learning. She loves reading, collecting calendars, going to museums, and having spontaneous movie nights with friends.
