PRATTMWP COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
I don’t have a design philosophy I stick to, as I flow to where the project needs me to go, and I don’t like definitions where definitions are not necessary, but through time, I observed that some components that make up my design process include sustainability (thanks to my dad who hated littering), capturing the essence of something (thanks to my appreciation for Chinese characters), and smart mechanisms or wow factors (either hidden or glaringly obvious) whenever suitable. I’m excited at the thought of starting a “portable” design studio of great, kind, and funny creatives but always bring myself back to the present because I have more important things to do now which might contribute to that dream. I’m also not afraid to make gross things (I find funny), occasionally, because that’s the only outlet for things that I can’t stop from popping into my head. I hate a laggy computer and my nightmare is when InDesign shows me Error Code 5. Aside from those, I love to eat Asian food, swim, read, screen print, watch things, and appreciate the water I drink.
