Bader Rutter Rebrands TEMPO To Elevate Women

Ad agency Bader Rutter reimagined a branding for TEMPO, the largest professional women's group in Wisconsin dedicated to raising the voices of women leaders across the U.S. The two organizations also shared a passion project: an award-winning documentary.

An Even Bigger Story Emerged

TEMPO is a professional women’s organization that connects its members with one another and the community. In celebration of the organization’s 45th anniversary, an all-female creative and production team at Milwaukee and Chicago-based agency Bader Rutter refreshed TEMPO’s look to capture its mission — to elevate women and their contributions to business and their community. The new brand system includes a logo and overall visual identity.

But as the two organizations worked together, a bigger story emerged. TEMPO’s dedication to mentorship merged with Bader Rutter’s passion for sharing Wisconsin’s best stories. Direct Positive, a documentary that tells the story of women leaders across industries, became a mutual passion project. The film uses a 1902 tintype camera without filters to highlight the beauty of imperfect moments and has now been awarded ‘Best Documentary’ by the 2022 FEEDBACK Female Film Festival.
