Brand strategy and design agency CBX further expands its senior team, appointing Alexa DePasquale as Senior Strategy Director. She has a decade-plus of experience across agencies, venture capital and DTC that has shaped a “modern, multidimensional approach to brand strategy.” At CBX, she will help lead strategy across the agency.
“Alexa brings an incredibly rare blend of entrepreneurial energy and strategic depth,” said Evan Gettinger, Principal at CBX. “Her background spans some of the world’s most innovative brands, and we’re thrilled for her to bring this experience and impact to our clients and our culture.”
Prior to joining CBX, DePasquale served as Director of Strategy at Bullish, an early-stage venture fund and brand strategy firm, where she led transformation work for leading global brands including JPMorgan, Walmart, Anheuser-Busch, and HumanCo, while also supporting a range of portfolio startups. At Daily Harvest, she founded and led the Innovation and Product Marketing team, launching the brand’s first-ever plant-based ice cream and milk collections—bringing new SKUs to life through integrated campaigns spanning PR, influencer, digital, and more.
“I joined CBX because of the people — hands-down,” says DePasquale. “Our team is full of good humans and unmatched talent…”
Earlier in her career, she served as SVP of Innovation at Grey, where she helped incubate new products and services for clients like GlaxoSmithKline, Canon, Jägermeister, and Nestlé. While there, she brokered a first-of-its-kind partnership between Grey and Betaworks, giving clients access to emerging technologies, creative thinkers, and early-stage founders to help solve new kinds of business challenges.
DePasquale is a dedicated mentor within NYC startup accelerator programs and a passionate advocate for the next generation of brand builders. She’s also a lifelong athlete and USA Powerlifting Nationals finisher, holding a New York State bench press record with RP Strength. She was previously named a Business Insider “Rising Star of Madison Avenue.”
