Our 60th GDUSA anniversary showcase reflects graphic design's shape and service to commerce and culture. Winners run the gamut from traditional to new media; from inspirational assignments to bread and butter projects; from large creative agencies and departments to boutique design studios and freelancers and, of course, student work; from established stars to rising newcomers; and from red states and blue. This annual competition was originally founded as the ‘Desi’ (Design) Awards and is officially the American Graphic Design Awards.™ Publisher Gordon Kaye has some thoughts on those 60 years.

Robert Half Inspires ‘Designing For Good’ Category

ROBERT HALF presents the “Designing For Good” feature category. This category, introduced last year, encompasses graphic communications that advance positive social and environmental action and social justice impact; promote diversity, equity and inclusion; and aim to make communities and the world a better place for people and nature. It has, in two short years, grown to be the single largest category. It is appropriate that Robert Half inspires this initiative. As the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm, the company connects opportunities at great companies with highly skilled job seekers. And Robert Half fosters a culture where all people can connect, grow and thrive, and is deeply committed to advancing inclusion and diversity in the workplace and the community.
