Design Womb Dips Into Humor For Retail Ready Branding

Dipnotic Dips is branded from the ground up by Chicago-based Design Womb.

Design Womb, the full-service graphic design studio of Nicole LaFave, has developed a set of retail ready dip packages with custom developed wrap-around sleeves for Dipnotic Dips.  The product is made from “health all-natural ingredients, but they don’t taste healthy, they just taste delicious.” Says LaFave, who served as art director and designer on the project: “We worked to launch this brand from the ground up and the food packaging design reflects our art direction, brand voice, copywriting, photography, brand identity and logo design.

We helped define the brand’s quirky personality through humor and playful lab-like layout. The dip packaging is colorful and we used humor in the brand voice to keep things light-hearted and healthy.” The firm also designed the website. In addition to LaFave, credits go to Zach Golden for copywriting and brand Voice and Lucy Hewett for photography.
