Diamond Packaging On American Craftsmanship

Diamond Packaging's new Recipe for American Craft collection celebrates 250 years of American innovation while showcasing premium printing, specialty finishing, and sustainable packaging design.

Diamond Packaging has introduced Recipe for American Craft, a limited-edition reference collection that celebrates 250 years of American innovation, ingenuity, and craftsmanship while showcasing the company’s award-winning packaging capabilities.

Created for brand owners, packaging designers, and marketers, the collection serves as both a commemorative piece and a practical design resource, demonstrating how visual design, specialty decoration, and manufacturing craftsmanship can enhance packaging performance and strengthen brand perception.

Housed in a premium paperboard recipe box, the collection includes twenty 4-by-6-inch recipe cards, each featuring an iconic American landmark, cultural symbol, or emblem of innovation. The imagery was selected for both its cultural significance and its ability to highlight a distinct decorative technique, allowing users to experience firsthand how different finishing effects influence shelf impact and consumer perception.

Each card showcases a curated combination of specialty printing and converting techniques, including coatings, foils, embossing, holographic effects, metallic finishes, sculpted satin textures, and natural wood relief. Together, the cards illustrate Diamond Packaging’s expertise in creating high-impact packaging that blends creative design with technical execution.

The collection also reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing. Both the recipe cards and presentation box were produced using Clearwater ReMagine paperboard containing 30 percent post-consumer recycled fiber. Manufacturing took place using 100 percent wind energy in a carbon-neutral (Scope 1 and Scope 2), Zero Waste to Landfill facility.

.

While inspired by America’s 250th anniversary, Recipe for American Craft is intended to remain a year-round reference for packaging professionals, offering ongoing inspiration for material selection, decorative techniques, and package development long after the milestone celebration concludes.
