Insite Illustrates The Story of Rye

Insite employed an illustrated scene screen printed right onto the bottle to tell the story of a new small batch 100% Canadian Rye.

To help introduce a new 100% Canadian Rye from Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers in Beamsville ON, the Insite design agency used illustration – placed as a continuous scene around the bottle – to engage the audience with the history of the company and with the concepts of what makes a real rye — rye grain, milling, malting, mashing, distilling in copper and aging in oak.

The scene is screen printed and baked with ceramic inks. A pressure sensitive front and rear label carries specific release information and bottle numbers as well as cask number, and release year to reinforce the special nature of the product. Insite, based in Burlington ON, was founded in 1993 and is led by partners Leslie Akse and Barry Imber.
