Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) appoints Ricardo Bezerra as Executive Creative Director. Bezerra brings more than 25 years of award-winning experience in branding, design, and innovation. As former Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Tátil Design, he led projects for global brands like Coca-Cola, Burger King, Danone, ABI, and Natura, as well as the Rio 2016 Olympic & Paralympic identities and the Rio Carnival Brand, which earned two Gold Cannes Lions. He spent much of his career, says JKR, at the intersection of technical design and conceptual art, combining these two areas to become a multidimensional creative force.
Bezerra joins JKR after the agency was recognized as Creative Review’s Most Creative Design Agency and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. ªRicardo has been on our radar for a while. He’s at the forefront of branding in Brazil and beyond, partnering with some of the world’s most iconic brands. As soon as we met, it was clear that we shared the same creative philosophy – find what makes brands unique and communicate it in a way that’s exciting and relevant. We look forward to joining forces,” said Tosh Hall, Global Chief Creative Officer at JKR. The hire follows closely on the heels of Stuart Radford who also joined the agency last month as ECD.
