Treacyfaces.com Director of Typography and Creative Director Joe Treacy will give a talk at the Museum of Printing in Haverhill MA at 1 pm on Saturday, April 26. Treacy is a nationally renowned expert, a multiple national and international award winner, and named a 2025 Person to Watch by GDUSA.

His presentation on how to design a typeface covers the strategic and esthetic journey those who choose to design typefaces will encounter, as well as how to actually design a distinct and highly useful font and font family.

The talk will also cover the specific journey that Treacy and his company have been on over these past 40 years, and what’s ahead. Included will be his typographic inspirations, showings of his award-winning Treacyfaces®️ TF fonts, examples of his premier global client work and his groundbreaking Treacyfaces.com interactive typesampler™️.
In addition, Treacy has offreed to professionally critique student type designers one-on-one, with a chance that the design could be collab-produced and published on treacyfaces.com.
