CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY
Juan Aranda is a junior communication design major with a minor in writing. He briefly flirted studying product design but couldn’t shake the pull that typography held and continues to hold over him. His mounting collection of books and magazines, and his dwindling checking account, can attest to this. Growing up, his parents exposed him to many different influences fostering his love for music, art, and design. He distinctly remembers their hundreds of museum outings and the many times he’s sat in the audience listening to his father perform with the local orchestra. He’d like to thank them for this and their continued support. Moving forward, Juan’s plan is to keep heading east, experience NYC, bounce around Europe, and make it home in time to watch the Dodgers finally win the World Series again.
