Kate Manos is a graphic designer born, living and focused on Los Angeles. Collecting and capturing the accelerated change her city is experiencing through systems such as Google Street View, Kate distributes these digital observations using available printing methods. Kate sees the designer’s role as one of both authorship and intention, and strives to create a practice that incorporates social responsibility. She has just completed her MFA in Graphic Design and she is currently the designer at Clockshop, a multidisciplinary arts organization located in Frogtown – which marries her love of design, LA, community-building, and the arts. Previously, she was the Brand Director at verynice, a consultancy that gives half of its work away for free. Kate currently lives in the Arts District of Downtown with her husband, two black cats, and a mutt named Charlie.
