Originally from Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, Kristina Selinski is currently a student at Pratt in Utica NY studying Communications Design with a focus in Advertising Art Direction. Alongside advertising, Selinski has indulged herself in many different forms of art. As a result, her film and photography work has been recognized in Sewer Magazine Volume 1 and featured on Pratt Portfolios on Behance. Selinski plans to pursue her love for photography and painting in addition to design. Upon graduating with her BFA from Pratt Institute in 2019, Kristina Selinski plans to stay in NYC working for one of the various creatively charged advertising companies there.

Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, but I’m at school in NY state now.

Righty, but ambidextrous when I paint.

I’m both, I get my best work done at 2am, but I love to be awake early so I don’t waste the day.

I can’t say that I have one.

I’m interested in learning! But unfortunately I can’t play anything right now.

I was a big fan of anything Cartoon Network, I really liked Dexter’s Laboratory.

GREATEST STRENGTH/WEAKNESS AS A DESIGNER?
Greatest strength is my persistence to get it right, weakest strength is my persistence to get it right. It takes a lot of my time up, I may redo a project 5 times before I eventually like it. If I manage my time right though, it may work to my advantage in the end.
IF YOU WERE NOT A DESIGNER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?
A painter, I’ve always enjoyed the fine arts.
