Lily Fulop

Lily Fulop believes in art, beauty, and design to enhance life and interaction.

CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF DESIGN

Lily Fulop is in her junior year studying Communication Design at Carnegie Mellon University. She believes in the power of art, beauty, and design to enhance the way we live and interact, and to provoke us to confront our reality and values. She’s interested in exploring issues of identity, mental health, and social justice, and is largely influenced by intersectional feminism. On a more visual level, Lily is obsessed with color (chartreuse is her signature) and creating rich, sensory experiences. She makes bold, playful designs and has a passion for illustrating patterns and prints. She also loves yarn craft and has very tactile sensibilities; she gets excited about texture and surfaces, so she’s not happy with her designs only existing on screen (she’d rather make a zine.) Lily has interned at Groupon and has experience with marketing and branding, but is looking to shift her efforts towards textile design.
