PRATTMWP COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
Currently a sophomore Communication Design student at PrattMWP College of Art and Design, Maddison Manente has expressed a passion for art and design ever since she was a small child. Starting with imaginative chalk drawing on the driveway as a kid, she progressed through extracurricular art classes in elementary school to working with oil paint as a middle and high school student. Prior to attending college, Maddison experimented with graphic design and illustration in her free time, and designed an agenda book for herself and friends. Maddison enjoys creating stories and expressing them through her artwork as well as incorporating illustration into her designs and vice versa. She is working on a variety of personal projects including experimenting with animation and creating a story-based point-and-click game from scratch. As of now, she is teaching herself how to code, animate, and create the game, but she hopes to learn more about game design, both physical and digital, in the future.
