Mobile-First City PASS Site Wins User Experience Award

Customer-friendly City PASS rebrand and site travel well.

CityPASS has been awarded the Best User Experience award at the eTourism Summit for a newly launched responsive website designed and developed by The ZaneRay Group. CityPASS identifies and curates spots for in cities nationwide, while The Summit focuses on sharing digital marketing strategies within the travel industry. The site design was a mobile-first approach, with a balance of content and functionality key to an on-the-go consumer; it is optimized to provide users with quick information needed at a glance with an intuitive structure for accessing more detailed information. “This collaborative attention to detail is what makes this site so easy to use,” commented Henry Roberts, VP of Creative at the Whitefish MT web design firm.

The project is part of a larger rebranding of CityPASS, led by San Francisco-base Teak design studio, which developed the brand identity, brand standards manual, visual assets library and destination specific videos. ZaneRay interpreted the new visual language and incorporated it into a responsive site design that was honored for its ease of use and ability to connect emotional with customers through photography and content.
