To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Museum of Pop Culture’s (MOPOP) is launching the world’s first custom fragrance for a museum created using olfactory intelligence (OI), an AI-powered technology, in collaboration with Generation by Osmo.
The fragrance, Electric Harmony, captures MOPOP’s spirit with notes of lemon, linden blossom, rum extract, patchouli, and oud. Package design for the fragrance is equally bold. With colors reminiscent of the iconic facade of MOPOP’s unconventional Frank Gehry-designed building and the highlight of an electric guitar which inspired the scent, the fragrance is sure to stand out on shelves.
The nonprofit museum is based in Seattle WA dedicated to contemporary popular culture. It was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000. Michele Y. Smith is CEO of MOPOP.
