Accompany Creative and Neiman Marcus Offer ‘Gift With Purpose’

Supporting Female Empowerment In Beauty Space

Accompany Creative has launched a female-powered Gift With Purchase (GWP) with luxury retail client Neiman Marcus. The initiative aligns with “Fashioned For Change,” the retailer’s broader collection of products certified to third-party social and environmental standards, and, says Accompany, is an effort to reshape the traditional “gift with purchase” model into a meaningful “gift with purpose.”

The merchandise, consisting of 50,000 hand-printed, jute cosmetics cases, was created for Neiman Marcus by a WFTO-certified, entirely women-run, and women-owned Bangladeshi cooperative, where many brands produce goods without such empowerment. They were made using hand-printed techniques that avoid fossil-fuel-based production processes and jute materials, widely regarded for their durability and biodegradability. The cosmetics cases feature an exclusive pattern inspired by the theme “Uplifting Always” — an arrow-inspired design that symbolizes women lifting one another across borders and cultures. To create an emotional connection for the Neiman Marcus consumer and authentically capture the essence of the women creating this collection, Accompany Creative partnered with a local Bangladeshi photographer.

Accompany Founder Jason Keehn comments, “The essence of this collaboration lies in reimagining promotional strategies and recognizing the emotional resonance of supporting female empowerment in the beauty space. Accompany’s innovative approach transforms existing marketing functions into engines for positive change. Neiman Marcus’ pioneering partnership with us proves that social impact and revenue growth can go hand in hand; seeing them as opposing forces is a false premise.”

The mission-led GWP, part of the November Neiman Marcus Beauty Events lineup, will run from November 6th through the end of the year. Designed to promote women’s empowerment and interconnectivity, the GWP will be available at beauty counters in Neiman Marcus stores nationwide and online as part of the “Fashioned For Change” collection edit.
