A Refined G-Fish Logo
Georgia Aquarium and Doe-Anderson broke a new regional, multi-city brand campaign, including both a notable Super Bowl presence pre-game and in-game as well as a broad media palette encompassing everything from podcasts to print from February through June. “It was an honor to rebrand one of the world’s biggest (and best) aquariums. Much like the ocean itself, the aquarium is full of inspiration and wonder – that goes for the animals as well as the people and their initiatives,” said Zach Stewart, Doe-Anderson Vice President and Director of Design. “To match that vibrancy, we introduced a bold color palette, more playful yet contemporary typefaces, and refined the iconic ‘G-Fish’ logo to be more balanced and legible. The opportunity to partner with such dedicated clients is an experience almost as exciting as the aquarium itself.”
Themed “Where Wonder Lives,” the new brand campaign’s Super Bowl buy included multiple pre-game and in-game spots in the 10 target markets of Ashville, Greenville, Charlotte, and Raleigh-Durham N.C., Jacksonville FL, Birmingham AL, and various metro areas in Georgia. Breaking in February, it will run through June.
In addition, the campaign from Doe-Anderson, which handles national media planning and buying responsibilities as well as creative, features in a range of media, spanning live and streaming TV, including CTV and YouTube, as well as print, social, digital display, OOH, digital video, digital audio and beyond.
Doe–Anderson works with iconic brands including Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, and Louisville Slugger bats and equipment. Client partners also include Texas Roadhouse, Carrier, Roto-Rooter, and several healthcare and financial sector brands.
