Academy of Art University is committed to giving back to the people and communities of San Francisco. Among the institutions contributions to the city are many vivid murals, created by students and alumni for all to enjoy. They tell the story of the city’s neighborhoods and underscore why San Francisco is such an inspiring place for art and design students to begin their careers. One dramatic example: a team of Academy students recently hand-painted has a vibrant 8-story mural on Cova Hotel, a local boutique hotel in San Francisco.
