Kevin Hall Design is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Located in the picturesque shoreline town of Milford CT, the firm has been recognized with awards for logo design, branding and corporate identity by the Connecticut Art Directors Club, The Advertising Club of Connecticut, and GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards, among others. Founder Kevin Hall has written widely on the importance and effectiveness of good design and the role of design in business, has donated artwork and photography to Yale-New Haven Hospital, and has artwork in the permanent collections of the New Haven Museum, RIT Archives, and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Prior to starting his own firm, Hall held positions as Designer/Art Director with General Foods and Marketing Corporation of America. Says Hall: “Looking back, I have been fortunate to meet people like Saul Bass, Ivan Chermayeff and Michael Beirut who have given me a great deal of inspiration. My advice to young designers is to work hard, be inspired by the excellent work of past and current designers, and blaze your own trail to graphic design greatness as you move forward in your own careers.”
