Odgis + Company Design Contributes To Graduate Program’s Mission

Award-Winning Book Captures The Campus Experience

Odgis + Company has designed the 2024 Rockefeller University Graduate Program in Bioscience Book for the second year. The publication seeks to capture the experience of being on the oasis-like campus in the middle of New York City. The modern laboratories, cafeteria, and walkways surrounded by tall trees are located next to the East River, offering views of boats and ferries. Inside a map depicts conveniently located cultural institutions and other biomedical facilities in the area, and the team also included a campus map for easy wayfinding.

Infographics incorporate fascinating, colorful electron microscope images that depict the diversity of fields of study.

Renowned alumni and faculty are profiled and quoted, along with students who praise the administration’s support of being tuition-free and offering low-cost housing.

The overall design of the book, says Janet Odgis, underscores that by recruiting the best students from around the world to work on groundbreaking research, Rockefeller University offers the opportunity to contribute to advances that will shape the future of science and medicine.
