Persuasion Retools Lowe’s Owned Hardware Retailer

Lifestyle hardware and garden supply retailer Orchard Supply Hardware has launched a new creative platform led by brand consultancy Persuasion Arts & Sciences. Looking for a refresh, 85-year old Orchard asked Persuasion to further connect with home owners and engage with their existing customers in California and Portland OR, and new customers at six stores in Florida.

To help the Lowes-owned retailer stand out from the competition, Persuasion created a platform that is part motto, part promise, and part product description — “Home, Hardware & Happiness.” Dion Hughes, Persuasion Arts & Sciences founder, explains that the body of work acts as a map for how to apply the platform all across the business, from traditional advertising to what’s printed on the receipt. The project includes the brand platform, creative, connections plan, analytics and reporting, strategic and creative intent, execution and production.
