In conjunction with Women’s History Month in March, the Johnnie Walker brand has added a female counterpart to its graphic look – Jane Walker – and parent company Diageo has announced it will donate $1 for each bottle sold to relevant non-profits such as Monumental Women and She Should Run.
Anomaly, creative agency of record for Johnnie Walker, created the campaign, which includes logo and package design as well as full page print ads featuring a striding Jane in similar pose to the original striding man illustration. Explains Stephanie Jacoby, a Vice President at the client: “We are proud to toast the many achievements of women and everyone on the journey towards progress in gender equality.”
