Tarongino is a sparkling canned wine made from 100% organic oranges and crafted in Valencia, Spain. Challenged with introducing a unique product to the US market, Watermark Design wanted to be sure the packaging reflected both the taste of the wine and the feeling of being in the Mediterranean. The design captures this with azure seas, orange and pink fruit, and warm sunsets on a can made for “picnics, brunches, pool days and happy hours.”
Watermark also wanted to be sure to clearly and quickly convey the selling proposition on the outer packaging — Wine from Oranges — to avoid any confusion during purchase. The lighthearted branding is also conveyed in wearable merchandise for Tarongino’s target audience.
