Improving Workflow By Streamlining The Paper Layering Process For Adobe Design Files
Neenah has just launched the first-ever paper extension for Adobe® Illustrator®. The development took place at the recent Adobe MAX event, and the extension is now available on the Adobe Exchange marketplace. The Neenah Swatch Pro™ is intended to make it easy for creatives to envision their work on the papers they will print on, allowing designers to instantly add a paper layer into their artwork and view their artwork on colors and textures from the mill’s most popular brands. Neenah partnered with the strategic business development and technology solutions firm, 6kites, to develop the Neenah Swatch Pro.
“The Neenah Swatch Pro transforms traditional design workflow with the click of a button. With this technology, designers no longer need to scan papers, upload iPhone photos, or manually create a paper layer to share their artistic visions with clients. Instead, they can select from a menu of Neenah’s most popular papers, then drop them into their files. This extension is a huge timesaver. With the Neenah Swatch Pro, designers have hundreds of combinations of paper colors and textures available at their fingertips. The extension currently holds the complete offerings from Neenah’s CLASSIC ®, ENVIRONMENT ®, and ROYAL SUNDANCE ® Papers, with plans for new additions in 2020. Designers can now easily explore papers and ideas, and even order paper samples, all directly from within Adobe Illustrator, part of Adobe Creative Cloud ®.
