VERMONT COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS (VCFA)
Based in San Diego, Rosemary is a creative director/designer, artist, writer and teacher. As owner of Rosemary Rae Design, she specializes in print, working closely with clients to shape collateral for events, fundraising and communication needs. Since graduating from Moore College of Art & Design in 1989, she has created advertising, branding, annual reports, posters and invitations for real estate companies, financial institutions, museums and nonprofits. She also teaches Typography, sharing her love of letterforms with her students. Her interest in vintage wood and metal type and the process of letterpress inspired her to create a unique line of greeting cards. Rosemary is currently a MFA candidate exploring design, typography, poetry and book making. As much as technology has invaded her life, she yearns for the tactile experience. Working everyday in a realm where structure and grid are imperative, she likes to rebel and rediscover the joy of process, collage and haptic experimentation.
