Rubrik and Redscout Address AI Era Security Threats

Redscout’s new brand platform for Rubrik underscores the security and AI operations company’s role in building for a new and ever-evolving threat landscape. A national ad campaign supports the message.

As the cybersecurity industry undergoes continuous change, security and AI operations company, Rubrik, has unveiled a new global brand North Star: Engineered for What’s Next.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment for the category, as new technologies like Mythos rapidly transform the threat landscape. Traditional approaches to cybersecurity are struggling to keep pace within the rapidly transforming space. As Rubrik CEO Bipul Sinha says, “Cybersecurity as we know it today is dead.”

Seeking to sharpen its differentiation in a crowded market, Rubrik partnered with brand consultancy, Redscout, to better understand the needs of enterprise decision-makers. The team uncovered a driving insight: Rubrik’s customers don’t need someone to sell them fear; they’re already living with it. They need a company that treats this as an engineering problem. Because their customers are going to need someone building for the threats that don’t exist yet.

The insight led to the idea of ”Engineered for What’s Next.” Rubrik’s capabilities make them uniquely suited to support organizations as AI transforms the way they operate. Engineered for What’s Next reflects Rubrik’s vision for agentic cyber resilience, where security enables organizations to adapt continuously and stay ahead of change.

The new brand platform is expressed through Rubrik’s new visual identity — including a refreshed color palette, typography, illustration, and data visualization system. The visual language uses layered visuals to represent the complexity organizations face, the stability Rubrik provides, and the progress that security makes possible.

”Cybersecurity’s getting rewritten in real time, and that’s a chance for a brand in this space to actually redefine what leadership looks like,” said Ryan Barton, Senior Strategy Director at Redscout. “What our research kept coming back to was bigger than security. Leaders don’t just want to get through what’s coming, they want to get ahead of it. So while everybody else is selling you a way to hold the line, the more interesting question is how to stay in front of it. That’s what ‘engineered for what’s next’ means, and it’s why Rubrik feels built to lead the era we’re heading into.”

A national ad campaign titled ”Keep Going” went live to introduce Rubrik’s new brand. The campaign includes a hero film running across CTV, along with OOH and digital components that highlight how organizations can operate through disruption without losing momentum.
