Landor & Fitch announces a new studio at the Waterfront Innovation Centre in Toronto, Canada to serve clients and to contribute to the thriving Toronto creative community. “At Landor & Fitch, we are here to make a positive difference through brand. We believe brands are a platform for action and a critical tool in business transformation. And in recent years, we’ve we have seen a growing demand for our expanded offer in new markets” says Gabe Miller, President, Americas for Landor & Fitch. “With the strong presence of WPP already in Canada, and a number of Canadian companies reaching across the border for brand transformation needs, we saw an opportunity to help clients connect business strategy to brand strategy and express that through innovative experiences in the market. Our offer is more relevant to clients than ever before. So, it feels the time is right to launch in Toronto.”

To lead the expansion, Landor & Fitch has tapped Scott Beffort, who will serve as Executive Director for the Toronto studio. Beffort has spent the last nine years with TAXI, where he has led the growth of their strategic design offering as President of Signal. “It’s an honor to be joining this leading brand transformation company. I’ve long admired Landor & Fitch for their world-class strategic thinking and delivery,” said Beffort. “Being able to bring those unique capabilities to Canada will be instrumental in addressing the critical importance of bringing brands to life in our omnichannel world. Canada has so many remarkable brands poised for great success, there are exciting times ahead.”

The new Toronto studio will be co-located with other WPP agencies in the Waterfront Innovation Centre which opens later this month. WPP is the world’s leading communication services company with agile, integrated solutions, world-class creativity and technology. Landor & Fitch Canada is starting the year with great clients, said Miller, thanks to a recent win with the Toronto Blue Jays, and ongoing work with the company’s Dell and Walmart clients in the region. “Landor & Fitch will be a rich complement to our current services in Canada and will allow us to create even more value for (new and existing) clients,” says Arthur Fleishman, Country Manager for WPP in Canada.
