THE ART INSTITUTE OF TUCSON
Dylan Hermosillo takes a methodical approach to execute his successful designs. Even as a child he had an eye for detail, which led to his intrigue for the arts. When Dylan was a senior in high school, a flame of passion ignited for graphic design. That year, he lost a graphic design contest, and it made him just mad enough to begin his formal training in the field. Realizing that it is nicer to win than to lose drove him to advance his skills and theory. He began his creative education at The Art Institute of Tucson. There, he helped lead the AD Club and attended the Tucson American Advertising Federation’s events in order to network and expand his knowledge base. He won accolades and honors for his design and his work as a peer mentor. He designed the first issue of any Art Institute newspaper. With his Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design in hand, Dylan continues to advance his skillset by teaching himself software and coding online and looks forward to pursuing his BFA in advertising.
