Caroline Skarupa is a design student at Portfolio Center with a mission to pursue her love of design and successfully inspire and motivate others through her work. Before finding her way to PC, she received her BA in Advertising from the University of South Carolina. Her passion for knowledge translates into her design process, as Caroline is constantly researching to come up with fresh ways to solve design problems. Her work is characterized by thoughtful use of typography, strong conceptual thinking, and innovative packaging design.

Empathy is a great strengths because it allows me to gain a deep understanding of the problem being solved and who it is being designed for. Empathy is also a great weakness because it sometimes causes me to put others needs ahead of my own, causing my work to suffer.
