I’m Sara. I’m a Design + Media Arts student at UCLA, graduating in Spring 2017. I’m passionate about making things, whether that’s graphic design, video, animation, or illustration. I believe in the power of design to communicate ideas and create experiences that words alone cannot. I care about creating design that is clear, conscious, individual, and tells an interesting story. I believe in the power of design to do more than sell products ‒ to make a positive impact on our world. I’m constantly inspired by nature, science, and the magic in everyday things. When I’m not in class or designing something, I enjoy cooking, tending to my growing number of potted plants, film photography, linocut printmaking, and hiking.
