Eric Wilson

COLLEGE FOR CREATIVE STUDIES

Eric is keenly interested in multimedia, interdisciplinary, research-based design solutions — he believes understanding an audience and being empathetic to their needs is critical to contemporary design practice. He focuses on creating flexible identity systems, motion and interactive media, and of course, thoughtfully-designed publications and print collateral. When he graduates, he would love to work in the cultural or nonprofit sector to use his design skills for the common good and to connect with audiences on a community-based, personal level. Eric is a fan of literary fiction, poetry, visual culture studies and sociopolitical theory. (Intersectionality is key to better understanding.) He also rollerblades and is an avid kite enthusiast. He doesn’t believe in the oxford comma, plants flowers in the springtime and loves lists, em dashes, fluorescent spot colors, uncoated paper stocks, risography, serigraphy, soft touch UV coating and iridescent foil debossing.
